Beginners CEFR A1.1
I have no knowledge or understanding of the language, or just a very basic knowledge, perhaps no more than a few key words and expressions. I have no real idea about the grammar, and I have a very limited vocabulary.
Themes/Lexical fields could include the following elements:
Greetings and introductions
General personal information: profession, nationalities, address, email...
Talking about your family members and describing them
Ordering food and drinks
Likes and dislikes
Your everyday life. Days of the week, months. Times.
Directions to move around the city
There is, there are: hay
Basic frequency adverbs
Question words - ¿Qué?, ¿Cómo?, ¿Cuándo?, ¿Dónde?
Verbs to be: ser and estar
Verbs to have: tener
Present tense of key verbs
Gender: masculine, feminine
Possessive pronouns: mi, tu, su
Vosotros/Ustedes. One used in Spain and the other in Latin America
Public timetables in restaurants and shops, etc
Some cultural differences such as we give two kisses when we say hello
Lots of speaking
Lots of listening
Lots of pronunciation
The Spanish course includes 12 lessons of 1 ½ hours (maximum 6 students).
2 to 4 hours per week.
Tuition fee is € 270,- including registration fees and additional teaching materials, excluding books.
